Currently, Congressman Blumenauer serves on three committees in the House of Representatives:

• The Committee on the Budget
• The Committee on Ways and Means
• The Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming
  

When he first came to congress, he joined the Transportation & Infrastructure committee , and then in 2001 he became a member of the International Affairs committee . Congressman Blumenauer served on both committees until 2007.
