Healthcare.gov Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment for 2018 via HealthCare.gov begins on November 1 and lasts until December 15. Here’s what you need to know:
1) High-quality, affordable health coverage is available. Last year, 8 in 10 people qualified for financial help – for Oregonians receiving assistance in 2017, premiums averaged $147 per month.
2) No matter if this is your first time getting covered or you are returning to shop and save, you must take action by December 15. If you already have coverage, take a moment to update and review your information – make sure your plan still meets your needs for the upcoming year. By comparing options for 2018, you may find it cheaper to select a new plan.
3) Free enrollment help is available. If you have questions about signing up or want to talk through your options with a trained professional, you may call 1-800-318-2596, visit https://localhelp.healthcare.gov or make a one-on-one appointment now. A calendar of local clinics in Oregon that can assist you with Open Enrollment is available here.
