No one should be denied health care.

Republican leaders across the country are doing everything they can to take away health care from those who need it most.

In the latest coordinated effort to sabotage and undermine our health care system, this week Trump and a group of Republican Attorneys General brought their attacks to the courtroom—attempting to argue that the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional.

Let’s be real. This case is an excuse to mask their attempts to discriminate against Americans with pre-existing conditions, drive up the uninsured rate, and increase out-of-pocket costs for people who are sick.

Americans need and want better. The majority of people believe that everyone should have access to health care, no matter the circumstance. Rather than picking and choosing who gets care, our health care system must allow everyone access to more affordable, higher quality care.

Health care should be a right, not a privilege.

The GOP will stop at nothing until guaranteed access to affordable health care is taken away from the 133 million Americans living with health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, cancer, mental illness or substance abuse—and millions of pregnant women. We can’t let this happen. Lives are at stake.

Every American deserves to know that their health care is protected. Trump and Republicans in Congress have failed to repeal the ACA before. Our fight to protect our care continues, as we also work towards universal health care for all.

Courage,
