Dear Friends,

With proposed budget cuts and student artists being censored by Congress, the arts, humanities, and public broadcasting are under attack.

I hope you will join me for a public forum to discuss the importance of protecting the arts, so vital to the fabric of our community. Student art will also be displayed, and the winner of my high school art competition will be announced.

Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. (doors open at 5:00 p.m.)

Transportation and parking: Parking will be limited at this event. University Place Hotel has a paid parking lot with entrances at 3rd Ave & Lincoln and 2nd Ave & Lincoln. Overflow parking is available at Portland State's Parking Structure 1. There is also street parking available in the area. Please consider taking public transportation, biking, or walking.
