Congressman Blumenauer to Visit North Catholic DeLasalle HS

PORTLAND, OR-Tomorrow, Congressman Earl Blumenauer will speak to a school assembly at North Catholic DeLaSalle High School in North Portland. Congressman Blumenauer will discuss his early involvement in politics, his experiences in Portland city politics and his current role in Congress. He will respond to student questions and discuss the major forces guiding U.S. policy at home and abroad.

The North Catholic DeLaSalle High School opened this year and currently enrolls 73 students who help pay for their own tuition through a unique work experience program. Students work at various corporations throughout the city to pay tuition and gain work skills.
