Members of Congress Will Fight to Keep Rescue Wing in NW

WASHINGTON, D.C. --- Today, Members of the Northwest Congressional Delegation will hold a media availability regarding a letter they are sending to the Secretary of the Air Force asking the Air Force to reconsider its decision to withdraw the 939th Air Rescue Wing from Portland. In the letter, the lawmakers request a meeting with the Air Force. The members will gather in Rep. Earl Blumenauer's Washington, DC office today to sign the letter and answer any questions reporters may have.
