He voted in favor of two other amendments that would mandate the beginning of U.S.

Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore), Ron Kind (D-WI), Paul Ryan (R-WI), and Jeff Flake (R-AZ), today criticized the farm bill conference report as a missed opportunity for the serious reform that would make our farm programs more equitable and fiscally responsible.

Washington, DC – Today the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Legal Timber Protection Act, legislation Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore) introduced in March of 2007, as part of the farm bill. The Legal Timber Protection Act, H.R. 1497, passed unanimously out of the Natural Resources Committee in November of last year.
